Game Ideas for the Baby Shower
While the planning for a baby shower is generally before the birth of a baby, you can do this just after your son/daughter is born. If this is your idea too, you need to plan many things – the venue, the food, the guest list, the entertainment, and so on. One thing you cannot simply miss out is the baby shower games for the party.
Whether it is for the adults attending the party or the little ones, here are a few ideas that would be suitable for all age groups.

Name it right – Every guest gets a nametag (with the name of a nursery rhyme character) when entering the party. The others must call him/her by that name only. If someone calls another by their original name, he/she must recite the rhyme for all.
Find the clips – In a big bowl of dry rice, put a number of clips. Blindfold a guest and let him/her find as many of the clips as possible within a set time. The one who finds the most wins a prize.
Lucky ducky – Get a tub full of rubber ducks and write down a certain number under each. Let your guests pick out similar numbers from a bowl. Let a little one pick a ducky. The person who has the matching ducky gets the prize.
Count the beans – Fill a jar with colorful jellybeans. Set it down on a table and let every guest guess how many beans are in the jar. After each one writes down their guess, count out the beans. Whoever is closest to the actual number, wins.
Guess it right – Put different baby food items in different jars. Paste the labels of the jars on a separate board. Let each guest sample a little of the food and try to match it with the label. Whoever finds the most matches, wins.
